School Inquiry Partnerships

Begin with a question that genuinely matters in your own context.

Educators sharing ideas in an informal inquiry conversation

Inquiry begins with lived reality.

The Learning Lab does not arrive with a programme to implement. We work alongside schools to understand what is already happening, listen carefully to the people within the system, explore the wider patterns shaping an issue, and test meaningful possibilities in practice.

A school might come because it is interested in student belonging, teacher flourishing, curriculum, sustainability, nature connection, leadership, culture, meaning and purpose, student agency — or another area where it senses both need and possibility.

Where need, energy and possibility meet.

Belonging, voice & agency

Where do students feel seen, heard and valued? Where can they genuinely contribute?

Teacher flourishing

What sustains educators’ meaning, connection and purpose — and what depletes them?

Nature & ecological belonging

How might place, awe and ecological stewardship become embedded within school life?

Values, worldviews & culture

Which values does a school aspire to embody, and how are these actually experienced?

Meaning, purpose & inner life

How can schools make inclusive space for wonder, reflection, stillness and compassion?

Leadership & organisation

How do structures, incentives, workload and governance affect trust, agency and renewal?

The ESF Framework helps us see the whole without prescribing the answer.

Inquiry is iterative: learning may return us to an earlier question or open an entirely new one.

The aim is not implementation fidelity. It is to strengthen a school’s own capacity to understand its ecosystem, learn from experience and create the conditions for flourishing.

What is your school noticing?

Every partnership is shaped around its particular community. The first step is simply a conversation.
